About HamRadioDirectory.com
Our Mission
HamRadioDirectory.com is the worldwide resource directory for amateur radio. Our goal is to be the single go-to reference for operators everywhere, from absolute beginners to seasoned DXers, organizing over 1,000 resources across every region and skill level into one searchable, well-structured directory.
Amateur radio resources are scattered across hundreds of websites, forums, and national organizations in dozens of languages. We bring them together in one place with clear descriptions and direct links to the source, covering clubs, licensing authorities, software, hardware, digital modes, contests, and operating resources worldwide.

Our Approach
Accuracy: We use official and authoritative sources whenever possible. Regulatory information comes from the FCC. Technical information comes from established amateur radio organizations and recognized publications.
Original content: All descriptions are original summaries written for this directory. We do not copy content from other sites. We link to the source so you can read the full information yourself.
No bias: We present equipment and software options objectively without pushing any specific manufacturer or product. Hardware choice depends on your budget, license class, and intended use.
Community vs. official: We clearly identify unofficial community resources (forums, Facebook groups, Reddit) as community resources and distinguish them from official organizations.

HamRadioDirectory.com is a growing resource. If you know of a resource that should be included, or if you find an error or broken link, we welcome your feedback.
This is a static website hosted on GitHub Pages. The directory data is stored in structured JSON files, making it easy to add new entries and maintain existing ones.
