South American DX
South America is an active DX region. The South American 10 Meter Net and the Intercontinental Net on 20 meters regularly feature South American stations. Propagation between South America and North America is generally strong on 10, 15, and 20 meters, especially near solar maximum.
Several South American entities are relatively rare on the air, making contacts with countries like Guyana (8R), Suriname (PZ), and the Falkland Islands (VP8) particularly sought after by DXers.
